Support for Parents of Children with Cancer

When a child has cancer, the challenges parents face can be overwhelming. All of the usual demands continue, but there is added stress on marriages, parenting, work, finances, and managing daily life. The good news is that most families cope well, especially with support from their care teams, friends and family, and other pediatric cancer families. The Support for Parents section of Together provides resources to help parents navigate the pediatric cancer journey.

Dr. Justin Baker, a pediatric oncologist and palliative care specialist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, shares lessons he has learned from working with patients and families facing pediatric cancer.
