Our Mission

When parents learn their child has cancer, they have many questions.

Often people turn to the internet for answers. They find a flood of information and opinions. Some is accurate and helpful. Some is not.

Produced by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Together is a resource where parents and others can get trustworthy information about childhood cancer. They can also find a helping hand from those who have walked the same road.

Together includes:

  • Expert, medical information.
  • Stories and experiences from families of childhood cancer patients.
  • Practical suggestions from specialists.
  • Ability to personalize the site to make it easier to find information.

Together is an extension of the vision of St. Jude founder Danny Thomas. He established the hospital in 1962 because he believed “no child should die in the dawn of life.” St. Jude is consistently ranked among the top pediatric cancer hospitals in the U.S.  as rated by U.S. News & World Report. It is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children.
