Drug companies have programs that give free or discount medicines to people who qualify for financial help. These programs are called patient assistance programs.
These programs help you, St. Jude, and other families.
Usually, people whose insurance does not pay for prescription medicines or does not cover the entire cost. You might qualify if you meet all 3 of the following:
If your family does not have prescription drug insurance and you want to help St. Jude, please call the Pharmacy patient assistance specialist at 901-595-0736. This person will meet with you and apply for patient assistance for you.

As long as your family qualifies. Every patient assistance program is different, so talk to the patient assistance specialist if you have questions.
No. Your child will get needed medicines on time, no matter where you are in the application process. Being in a patient assistance program will not delay your child’s treatment.
Yes. You can fill and pick up your child’s prescriptions as usual. Patient assistance programs send medicines directly to St. Jude. Pharmacy staff then follows the normal prescription filling process.
If your insurance changes or you get a new job, please tell the patient assistance specialist right away.
