St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
Rachael initially came to St. Jude as a high school volunteer in 2015. She spent her time working in the St. Jude garden helping grow the fresh vegetables that were served to the patients. During undergraduate school she joined the department of clinical nutrition as a student assistant. Having developed a deep interest in nutrition from a young age, she has always been aware of its importance. Throughout her time at St. Jude she has assisted in the development of many educational materials and contributed to their distribution at various campus events such as National Nutrition Month and Kids Eat Right Month. Rachael is pursuing a career in Integrated Marketing Communications and shares her talents on the job by helping author articles like this one for the Together blog. Rachael hopes to one day work at St. Jude in marketing and communications and plans to continue to use her experience in nutrition to promote healthy eating.
