Yike Huang
Seventeen-year-old Yike “Michelle” Huang grew up in China. She moved to the United States for treatment of acute myeloid leukemia. That treatment included a stem cell (bone marrow) transplant. During her treatment, Huang has found that art therapy and music not only soothe her soul but help her communicate her experiences to others. Huang plans to pursue a career in art therapy.
