Samantha is the Director of Medical Content Outreach at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She leads a team of talented individuals who create information and education content for patients and families using best practices in health communication. She has a clinical background as a pediatric nurse that includes providing direct care for acutely and chronically ill children as well as those with complex diagnoses and treatment. In addition to her clinical training, Samantha received her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Nursing Science from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Overall, Samantha’s goal is making patient education easy to access and understand so that patients and families will feel prepared to ask questions and participate actively in their treatment.
