Liliana Vasquez, MD, MSc

Liliana Vasquez, MD, MSc, is the international childhood cancer consultant of the Department of Noncommunicable Diseases and Mental Health of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). She is past president of the Latin American Society of Pediatric Oncology (SLAOP), the continental branch of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP). Vasquez also serves as international consultant for the Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer, PAHO/World Health Organization. She is the author of many articles on childhood sarcomas, treatment abandonment, diagnostic delays, and global child health.
