Erica H. Sirrine, PhD, LCSW, serves as director of Social Work at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Her research focuses on loss and bereavement, and she has been awarded the distinction of Fellow in Thanatology by the Association for Death Education and Counseling. She has extensive experience providing individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing illness and loss. Sirrine frequently presents workshops on grief and loss counseling to mental health practitioners throughout the United States.
