Manager at a national sporting goods company
James Eversull was diagnosed with cancer in an era when almost all children died of the disease. As a toddler, he took part in a clinical trial that transformed the treatment of childhood cancer. This study was part of the Total Therapy series at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Eversull was one of the first patients to survive acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He has had a long career in retail management and spends his free time running races or working out in the gym. He and his wife, Susan, make their home in Texas.
