Trisha K. Paul, MD, MFA is a physician and a writer. She completed pediatric hematology-oncology and palliative medicine training at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and she holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing through New York University. She studies the impact of narrative medicine, specifically writing and storytelling, on childhood cancer patients, their families, and clinicians. Paul published the book Chronicling Childhood Cancer: A Collection of Personal Stories by Children and Teens with Cancer. She aims to encourage and elevate the voices of young people with cancer and the clinicians who care for them.
