Tasha Ives is a certified Biblical Peer Counselor, author, and podcast host living near Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband, Dean. Their daughter, Sydney, was diagnosed at age 9 with an inoperable, high-grade glioma. After a year of treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and six months of hospice care at home, Sydney died on November 7, 2009. Known for her humor, creativity, and love of singing, Sydney left a legacy of faith and love. For over 12 years, Tasha has served in advisory, mentorship, and grief education roles at St. Jude, finding meaning and purpose through supporting other families while honoring Sydney’s legacy.
