Pragya Gautam Poudel, DrPH, is a postdoctoral research associate in the HPV Cancer Prevention Program at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She has a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Tennessee. She also has a graduate certificate in implementation science from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Her research focuses on HPV vaccination in people who face more challenges, like those with difficult childhoods or childhood cancer survivors. She wants to understand how and why people get the HPV vaccine, find out what stops them from getting it, and create ways to help more people get vaccinated.
