Nicole Alberts, PhD, is an associate professor of psychology and Canada Research Chair in Behavioural Health Intervention at Concordia University in Montreal. She leads a program of research focused on improving behavioral health and psychological outcomes in children, teens, and adults, with an emphasis on those diagnosed with catastrophic and chronic diseases, including childhood cancer. Her work also focuses on using digital health tools to better understand and improve pain and mental health outcomes. Alberts has broad clinical experience in pain management and rehabilitation psychology in children and adults.
