Lara Counts, MPH

Lara Counts works in the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She joined the Culture and Communication program in January 2024. Since then, she has studied how stigma affects children with cancer and their families worldwide. Counts looks forward to bringing this work to more communities. She wants to help create ways to reduce stigma. Her aim is to improve the experiences of children and families affected by cancer around the world.
