Jorge Espinel, MDiv, APBCC-HPC

Jorge Espinel is a clinical spiritual counselor with a master’s degree in theology. He is certified by the Spiritual Care Association and the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy in the United States, with a specialization in palliative care and end-of-life support.

He is part of the pediatric hematology-oncology and palliative care team at Clínica Imbanaco in Cali, Colombia, where he focuses on providing spiritual care and emotional support to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. His work is grounded in person-centered care, with a clinical and compassionate approach.

Espinel co-creates safe spaces where families can explore questions, emotions, and beliefs throughout treatment.
