Brian O'Flynn, PhD, PhD

Brian O’Flynn, PhD, is a scientific writer at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He uses his background in science to tell the stories of St. Jude research to a wider audience. Originally from Tipperary, Ireland, O’Flynn earned his doctoral degree in chemistry from the University of South Florida. He moved to Memphis, TN, to receive postdoctoral training in structural biology at St. Jude before joining the hospital’s science communication team. He loves being part of St. Jude and seeing how his work helps advance the mission.
